The project in Chemnitz involves the installation of a PV system with an output of 525.95 kWp on the roof of a shopping center. This system is designed to generate a considerable amount of energy, specifically 506,367 kWh per year, and has a direct consumption share of 92.50%. The use of this system saves around 178 tons of CO2 per year.
A particular challenge in this project was the complex routing of the system components and their connection to the local medium-voltage grid in order to achieve optimum energy distribution. VOLTARO took on the comprehensive portfolio analysis, the detailed feasibility study, the careful project planning, the system operation and the supply of solar power.
Installed technologies
Photovoltaics
Almost 6,200 square meters of roof space are used for sustainable electricity generation.
Scope of Work
Portfolio analysis
VOLTARO analyzed the solar potential of the building/portfolio free of charge.
Feasibility check
A comprehensive feasibility study was carried out with an on-site inspection.
Project planning
The photovoltaic project was planned in detail by our project managers.
System operation
VOLTARO maps the system operation for the owner without any effort and takes over all reporting obligations, etc.
